Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suffolk County Man Seriously Injured After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Tree Police are investigating an overnight crash that left a Long Island man seriously injured. It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13 in Huntington Station. The victim, a 40-year-old Huntington Station resident, was driving a 1993 Ford F-250 truck eastbound on West 11th Street, east of Oakwood Road, when the pickup truck skidded on ice, left the roadway, and struck a tree, Suffolk County Police said. Suspect At Large After Nassau County Bank Robbery A suspect is at large after a bank robbery on Long Island. The male suspect entered Citi bank located in Mineola at 250 Old Country Road at around noontime on Saturday, Feb. 12, according to Nassau County Police. He approached the teller and passed a note demanding money, said police. The teller complied and the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of US currency, according to police. Suspects At Large After Armed Robbery Of Domino's Deliveryman In Nassau County Two suspects are at large after an armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman near a Long Island intersection. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in Farmingdale. A 60-year-old man who was delivering food for Domino's Pizza was making a delivery in the vicinity of Oak Street and Cinque Drive when he was approached by two unknown males, according to Nassau County Police. Man Killed After Being Struck By Bus On I-95, CT State Police Say Police are investigating a fatal crash on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut. It happened around 8:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 in New London County, on the northbound side near Exit 89 in the Town of Groton. A bus was traveling in the right lane of two lanes when it struck a pedestrian, according to Connecticut State Police. Alert Issued For Missing Hampshire County Man Whose Rented Vehicle Was Found Stuck In Snow A man has gone missing in the region and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. The Massachusetts State Police and Huntington Police Department are attempting to locate Hampshire County resident Robert Sherman, age 79, of Chesterfield, who last last seen in Hampden County on Monday, Feb. 7 around 9:30 a.m., in Westfield.
