Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree In Fairfield County This story has been updated. Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash in Connecticut. It happened in Fairfield County around 9:10 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20. That's when a 2020 Acura TLX was traveling southbound in Trumbull on Route 25 in the left lane north of Exit 9 when the vehicle lost control and struck a tree off the roadway in the median, according to Connecticut State Police. Four Suspects Nabbed After Robbery At Gas Station In Hudson Valley Four suspects are in custody following a robbery at a gas station in the Hudson Valley. Man Attempting To Cross Nassau County Roadway Struck, Killed By Car, Police Say An investigation is underway after a fatal crash on Long Island. It happened around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 in Hicksville. While attempting to cross Jerusalem Avenue at Parc Lane, an 81-year-old man was struck by a northbound 2005 Honda Civic being driven by a 20-year-old man, Nassau County Police said. Suspect Charged With Attempted Murder After Serious Assault In Hudson Valley The identities of both the suspect and victim have been released following a serious assault at a storage facility in the area.
