Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Two Killed In Head-On Worcester County Crash Police are investigating a head-on crash that killed two people in the region. It happened at approximately 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 in Worcester County. Massachusetts State Police troopers assigned to State Police-Athol responded to Route 2 in Athol. Suspect Nabbed After Man's Leg Severed In Hit-Run Nassau County Crash, Police Say A driver has been accused of leaving the scene of a crash that left a man critically injured on Long Island. The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 in Elmont. A 65-year-old man, while attempting to cross Linden Boulevard at 237th Street, was struck by a 2015 Hino flatbed tow truck traveling eastbound that fled the scene, Nassau County Police said.  The man suffered a serious injury to his left leg which was severed below his knee, police said.  Responding officers immediately rendered life-saving aid by applying tourniquets to control the bleeding, police said. …
