Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Wind gusts as high as around 60 miles per hour have resulted in downed trees and tree limbs, with eastern Connecticut most heavily affected. Wind gusts as high as around 60 miles per hour have resulted in downed trees and tree limbs in both Suffolk and Nassau counties, with Suffolk more heavily affected. As of 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, PSEG Long Island is reporting a total 182 outages, with 8,237 customers now without power. Man Killed In Suffolk County House Fire A fatal Long Island house fire is under investigation. The blaze broke out in Selden at the home located at 357 Magnolia Drive at around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16. After the fire was extinguished, Earl Rahman, age 81, a resident of the home, was found dead, according to Suffolk County Police. There were no other injuries reported, Suffolk County Police said. A preliminary investigation by the Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad and Arson Section detectives has determined the cause of the fire to be non-criminal in nature.
