Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Charged Following Fatal Altercation At Suffolk County Home A man has been charged following a fatal altercation that occurred at his Long Island home. The incident happened in East Hampton and involved two men, a 35-year-old who lives at the home on Lincoln Avenue, and 45-year-old Kevin Somers, of Amagansett, Suffolk County Police said. East Hampton Town Police officers responded to the residence following a 911 call at approximately 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5. The incident happened around 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 in North Babylon. The 17-year-old boy was driving a 2007 Honda CRV on the eastbound side in the center lane, near Exit 39, when he was struck in the chest by several gunshots fired at him from the passenger side of a black motor vehicle as it passed the Honda, Suffolk County Police said.
