Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suffolk County Man Facing 43 Charges, Including Burglary, Grand Larceny, Warrants A Long Island man is facing 43 charges, including burglary, grand larceny, and 33 active warrants, according to police. Fifth Precinct Crime Section Officer Eric Cox received information late Saturday morning, Feb. 5 that Matthew Verderosa, age 25, of Coram, who was wanted by police, was possibly at the Midway Motel in Patchogue, Suffolk County Police said. Worker Killed During Shooting At Westchester Bar One worker has died after a shooting following a dispute at a bar in Westchester. The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6 at the Duo Tapas Bar and Lounge on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers. A dispute at the bar escalated into violence when a "perpetrator fired several handgun shots into the vestibule of the building, striking two male employees," Yonkers Police said. Suspect At Large After Suffolk County Bank Robbery Police are searching for a suspect after a Long Island bank robbery. A man entered the TD Bank branch in Elwood, located at 1941 Jericho Turnpike, at approximately 3:55 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, and verbally demanded money from the teller, Suffolk County Police said. Suffolk Man Charged With DWI After Crash Kills Girlfriend, Police Say A Long Island man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle crash killed his girlfriend overnight.
