Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing Suffolk County Man Police are asking the public for help locating a missing Long Island man. Peter McGuire, age 29, was last seen leaving his home in Smithtown on foot at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, Suffolk County Police said in an alert issued on Tuesday, Feb. 1. He was reported missing by a family member on Thursday, Jan. 20. McGuire is 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds. Police Investigating Fatal Shooting Near Suffolk County Intersection Police are investigating a fatal shooting near a Long Island intersection. Officers responded to Flower Road, near Neighborhood Road in Shirley, after a man was shot in the street at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, Suffolk County Police said. Daniel Decosta, age 34, of Coram, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
