Suffern's Lafayette Theatre Screens 'Gone With The Wind' SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Lafayette Theatre will celebrate its 92nd anniversary with a screening of "Gone with the Wind" on Saturday, April 16.  The screening is the first of the Robert Benmosche Family Film Festival at the Lafayette and begins at 11:30 a.m. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and a Wurlitzer pipe organ mini-concert preceding the film. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for children or free for seniors with valid senior pass.

Nyack Library Presents New Deal Lecture NYACK, N.Y. -- The Nyack Library's Food for Thought Lecture Series will discuss "Nature's New Deal" on Thursday,  April 14. Neil M. Maher will present "Nature's New Deal: The Great Depression and Franklin Roosevelt in New York's Hudson Valley" at 7 p.m.  Maher received his doctorate in history at New York University and is an associate professor in the federated history department at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University. The lecture begins in the Community Meeting Room at 7 p.m.
