National Weather Service Issues Freeze Warning For Ridgefield RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Temperatures will drop to sub-freezing levels in northern Fairfield County late Wednesday night, according to The National Weather Service. The freeze warning is in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Temperatures between the upper 20s and lower 30s Fahrenheit are expected to last until early Thursday morning.  Sub-freezing temperatures can kill sensitive plants if unprotected or not brought indoors,the National Weather Service warned.
