Bedford Resident Charged With Multiple Traffic Violations In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 25-year-old Bedford man was pulled over for speeding by the Yorktown Police Department on June 23 -- and he ended up with five total charges. Police pulled Louis Vitucci over for speeding along East Main Street, the police report noted. The officer ran a routine check on his license and discovered that it had been allegedly suspended -- for failing to pay a fine, failing to answer a summons and failing to pay the driver responsibility assessment. Garfield Boys And Girls Club Holds Free B-Ball Clinics GARFIELD, N.J.-- The Garfield Boys and Girls Club is hosting two free basketball clinics this month, for kids 6-14. The clinics will be on Sunday, July 10, and Sunday, July 24, with sessions for different age ranges. With each clinic, the 1-2 p.m. session is for kids ages 6-8, and the 2-4 p.m. session is for the 9- to 14-year-olds. The Garfield Boys and Girls Club is located at 490 Midland Ave., in Garfield.

Photos: East Rutherford Children Decorate Library Sidewalks EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Over the last month, local kids have decorated the garden sidewalks of the East Rutherford Memorial Library, as an Random Act of Kindness activity. The adornments included a variety of rainbows and other drawings, in addition to sayings like "Reading Rock Star" and "Reading + Summer = Awesome." "These little ones and family members braved the heat and drew these wonderful piece of art," the library noted in a Wednesday Facebook post.
