Thomas Dorr, 50 and a volunteer with the Pleasantville Fire Department, was feeding wild turkeys in the park during a blizzard on Jan. 7, 1996 with his wife, Jane Sawyer Dorr, and stepson, Jeffrey Door. Three Rye Neck Football Players Earn Spots On All-State Teams RYE NECK, N.Y. --  Three Rye Neck High School football players were recently named Class C All-State players by the New York State Sportswriters Association. Senior running back Dom Brescia was named to the Class C first team. Jake Sevean, a senior, was named to the second team defense, and Chris Richart was named to the third team defense. Rye Neck finished 6-2. Brescia rushed for 1,678 yards and 16 touchdowns for the Panthers. Sevean was a two-way standout, scored nine touchdowns and rushed for 493 yards.
