Teen Owner Of Popular Danbury Nightclub Is Charged In $500K Ponzi Scheme DANBURY, Conn. --  Legal troubles mounted Friday for Danbury teenager Ian Bick, the owner of a popular local nightclub. Bick, 19, owner of Tuxedo Junction on Ives Street, was charged with fraud, money laundering and false statement offenses stemming from allegations that he ran a Ponzi scheme. The indictment was returned Thursday, and Bick was arrested at his home Friday morning. Earlier in the day, it was reported Bick was arrested by U.S. Postal Service agents at his home on mail fraud, wire fraud and other charges. Yonkers Native Stars For Iowa State Men's Basketball Team YONKERS, N.Y. -- Dustin Hogue, a senior from Yonkers, has helped Iowa State’s men’s basketball team climb to No. 17 in the national rankings. Hogue, a Lincoln High School graduate, has started all 13 games for the Cyclones (11-2), who play No. 15 West Virginia on Saturday in Morgantown. Hogue enters that game averaging 11.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Hogue had a huge game in a 63-61 win over Oklahoma State on Tuesday. David Liptak, 50, will also serve three years of supervised release after the sentencing by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer. Accidents On Merritt Parkway In Stamford, Greenwich Slow Morning Commute FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Snow and slippery travel conditions greeted Fairfield County commuters for Friday's morning rush hour. An accident on the Southbound Merritt Parkway at North Street in Greenwich occurred at 7:46 a.m. An accident occurred near the same time on the Southbound Merritt at Exit 35 in Stamford. Traffic was slow moving in both directions on Interstate 95 as well, although there were no accidents as of 8 a.m. Snow was expected to taper off by mid-morning. Travel conditions are not expected to be hazardous for the evening commute.
