Beginning in January, the club will offer an 8-week, hour-long Fit Kids program to introduce children ages 12-14 to methods and benefits of fitness. Danbury Firefighers Tackle Late Night Blaze; 1 Hurt DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury firefighters fought a blaze Sunday at 10 p.m. Sunday at a residence at 7 Oak Ridge Ave. Arriving firefighters found the attached garage filled with smoke and quickly extinguished the blaze. No firefighters were injured, according to a statement from Steven Rogers Jr., communications coordinator and public information officer with the Danbury Fire Department.
