Danbury's Hatcher Lands Starting Role For RPI Basketball DANBURY, Conn. -- Brian Hatcher of Danbury is averaging 10.7 points per game as a starter for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute men's basketball team. Hatcher, a junior who graduated from Immaculate High School in Danbury, has started all games for RPI (5-13). He is second on the team in rebounds and assists and first in steals. He led RPI with 16 points in a 77-65 loss to Sage early in the season. He is averaging more than 33 minutes of playing time.
