Born in Norwalk to the Dolores Lee Brown and the late John T. Brown, Jr., she had been a longtime resident of Stamford. Kim was a 1983 graduate of Westhill High School and a 1987 graduate of Hampton University. Pamela Soares, 51, Of Stamford STAMFORD, Conn. -- Pamela Jo Soares, 51, of Stamford, died suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 29, at Norwalk Hospital. She was born in Stamford on July 8, 1963, to the late Margaret S. Soares and Paul P. Soares. Pamela is survived by her brother, Antone P. Soares; sister, Karla Soares Thomas; and her nephew, Grayson Soares Thomas, all of Norwalk. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Accident In Greenwich On Nortbound Merritt Slows Wednesday Commute FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- An accident during the morning rush hour on the Merritt Parkway Northbound in Greenwich slowed Wednesday's commute for motorists. The accident occurred at 7:24 a.m. between Exits 29 and 31. Another accident occurred on Interstate 95 South in Fairfield around 7:40 a.m. The accident blocked the right shoulder at Exit 24.

Accidents Slow Wednesday Morning Commute In Westchester WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An overturned vehicle on Route 9A South between Croton Point Avenue and Cedar Lane slowed the Wednesday morning commute. Danbury's Casey Smith Rakes In More Basketball Awards At Fairfield U. DANBURY, Conn. -- Honors continue to roll in for Danbury's Casey Smith, a redshirt sophomore on the basketball team at Fairfield University.
