Albany County resident Daniel Fuino, of Slingerlands, was indicted on multiple counts of sexual exploitation in Albany federal court in November 2023. Full Closures Scheduled For Portion Of Long Island Expressway A scheduled highway closure could spell delays for Long Island drivers this week.  Both directions of the Long Island Expressway are scheduled to close nightly at exit 63 in Brookhaven beginning Monday, Nov. 27. I-495 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews facilitate a bridge deck renewal project, according to the Department of Transportation.
