'Heinous' Killing: Hudson Valley Man Admits Stabbing Victim To Death, Hiding Body In Home More than a year after a missing Hudson Valley man was found stabbed to death and wrapped in a tarp, his killer has finally confessed. Rockland County resident Joseph Janulewicz, age 65, of West Nyack, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in Rockland County Court on Wednesday, Nov. 22, in the death of Brian Romney. Cyber Tip Leads To Child Porn Charges For Capital Region 19-Year-Old A 19-year-old man from the region is facing charges after he was allegedly caught with child pornography. Malachi Fennicks, of Schenectady, was arrested Friday, Nov. 17, following an investigation by New York State Police. Troopers began investigating Fennicks after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators found him in possession of multiple images consistent with child sexual exploitation, police said. Multi-Car Crash Sends 6 To Hospital, Knocks Out Power In Capital Region During Morning Commute Six people are hospitalized following a multi-car crash that knocked out power to a busy stretch of roadway in the region. The Albany County wreck happened at around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Colonie on Wolf Road near Marcus Boulevard. Parolee Shoots Through Ex-Girlfriend’s Long Island Front Door, Police Say Police are asking for help in locating a prison parolee accused of shooting through the front door of a woman’s Long Island home. The alleged incident happened at around 1 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at a Central Islip home located on Irving Street. Child Porn Arrest: School Therapist From Hudson Valley Coaxed Teen Into Sending Nudes, Feds Say A recently retired high school therapist is facing federal charges after allegedly coaxing an underage teen into sending sexually explicit photos. Orange County resident Michael Meyers, age 62, of Port Jervis, was arraigned in White Plains federal court on Monday, Nov. 20.
