On Sunday, Carnahan pitched a one-hitter in Westport’s 1-0 win over Rhode Island. On Monday, Westport struck for five runs in the seventh inning en route to an 8-3 win over Maine. New Canaan's Campbell Advances To Olympic Semifinals NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan’s Andrew Campbell and teammate Joshua Konieczny advanced to the semifinals with a second-place finish Monday in their first race in the lightweight double sculls at the Summer Olympics. Campbell and Konieczny finished second behind Norway in the second heat. The top two crews in each heat advanced to Wednesday’s semifinals at the Games, which are being held in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The U.S. crew finished in 6:26:56. Norway won in 6:24:81.
