Norwalk Runner Tops $1,500 In Fundraising For Sexual Assault Center NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk runner Damion Martin recently completed a half-marathon in Chicago and raised more than $1,500 for The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education in Stamford. Martin also plans to run the SONO Half Marathon on Oct. 15 to benefit The Center. Martin’s mission is to complete a half marathon in every state by the time he turns 50. Judge Rules Connecticut's Educational Funding Formula Is Unconstitutional FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Superior Court judge Thomas Moukawsher ruled Wednesday that Connecticut’s method of distributing state aid for education is unconstitutional and gave the state 180 days to revise its formula, according to CTMirror.org. Moukawsher's ruling came in the 11-year-old lawsuit filed by the by the Connecticut Coalition for Justice in Education Funding. In his ruling, Moukawsher said legislators circumvented the existing Education Cost Sharing formula.
