ESPN Analyst, Former NFL Star Joins Yonkers Sports Bar To Kick Off Season YONKERS, N.Y. -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back and ESPN analyst Merrill Hoge will visit Dan Rooney’s Sports Bar on Monday in Yonkers to help kick off the new NFL season. The Steelers kick off the season at 7 p.m. against Washington. A veteran of eight seasons in the NFL and longtime football commentator, Hoge will meet and greet fans at the popular sports bar. 3 Town Positions Vacant In Weston After Recent Resignations WESTON, Conn. -- Weston will have three vacancies in town positions after recent resignations, according to The Weston Forum.Michelle Albright, the director of youth services; tax assessor Ken Whitman; and children's librarian Pamela Wilonski, all tendered recent resignations. Wilonski's last day was Sept. 1, and Albright's final day will be Sept. 23. Whitman submitted a resignation letter on July 5, the Weston Forum said, but his last day has not been announced. Hen Hud Grad Takes Reins Of Men's Lacrosse Program At Emerson College MONTROSE, N.Y. -- When the door opened for Matthew Colombini to become the head coach of the men’s lacrosse team at Emerson College, the Hendrick Hudson High School grad and was ready. Scarsdale Music School Plans Concert In Memory Of Long-Time Faculty Member SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Hoff-Barthelson Music School announced it will host a concert in memory of Edmund Niemann, a long-time member of the faculty at the Scarsdale school, in October.
