Mahwah EMS Christens 3 New Rigs MAHWAH, N.J. -- Mahwah EMS invites people to share in the new excitement of three new ambulances to its fleet with a "Triple Ambulance Wetdown" on Saturday, Oct. 1.The event runs from 2-6 p.m. at 1 International Blvd. in Mahwah. The event will include food, drinks and a 50-50 raffle. Mahwah EMS has received two new Horton ambulances, and a third is on the way. NY Times Examines Inequity Of Schools In Bridgeport Vs. Fairfield FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A New York Times story contrasted the education inequities in schools between the neighboring communities of Fairfield and Bridgeport. The story, published Sunday, said 94 percent of Fairfield students graduate on time. The median income in the district is $120,000. Bridgeport, one of the state's poorest cities and its most populous district, has a 63 percent graduation rate.
