Hudson Chorale Performs Elijah In Irvington IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Hudson Chorale will conclude its sixth season with a performance of Felix Mendelssohn's "Elijah" at Irvington Middle/High School on Saturday, May 14. "Elijah" tells the story of the Old Testament prophet to music with floods, tempests, droughts, fiery chariots and a fiery staircase. Ossining Artists' Work On Display In Exhibition GOLDENS BRIDGE, N.Y. -- Anderson Chase Gallery will present the Todd M. Casey Reflections exhibition from May 11-20.  Reflections will exhibit the Cortlandt artist's narrative realist portrait drawings and paintings.  The exhibit will also feature the work of Ossining artist Tom Wills.  An opening reception will take place Saturday, May 14 from 3 to 6 p.m. Anderson Chase Gallery is located at 65 Old Bedford Rd. in Goldens Bridge. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and by appointment on Sunday.

Ossining PTA Holds Talent Show OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Upper Elementary PTA Variety Show took place at Ann M Dorner Middle School on Thursday, April 28.  In addition to singing and dancing, students showcased their talents in taekwondo, magic, music and more. One student solved three Rubik's Cubes in two minutes.  Twenty-three prizes including facials, dance classes and a health club membership were raffled at the show. Auditions and a mandatory rehearsal preceded the show. Each participant also contributed something to the bake sale.  The PTA raised almost $750 from the show.

Ramapo Police Arrest Man For Heroin Possession RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A Valley Cottage resident was arrested in Ramapo for possession of heroin just after midnight on Friday, April 29. The 33-year-old male's vehicle was stopped by Ramapo police for an equipment violation. An officer allegedly observed a hypodermic needle and a small amount of heroin upon approaching the vehicle.  The driver allegedly admitted to being a heroin addict and was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance to the 7th degree and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.

Customers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts can have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if consuming these cookies.
