Teens Stage Movie Scenes At Poughkeepsie's Cunneen-Hackett Workshop
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center will host a teen workshop featuring staged performances of favorite movie scenes on Saturday, May 21. Teens and tweens from ages 10 to 16 met on Wednesday evenings starting in March to master their favorite film scenes. The workshop is presented by Cocoon Theatre. The show begins at 5 p.m.

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich firefighters responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, May 17. The crash occurred on North Street at North Stanwich Street around 6:30 p.m. North Street was closed for hours due to the accident.

Fairfield Police Throw Fundraiser For K9 Unit
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Police Department will hold its K9 Unit Fundraiser at Country Cow Deli on Saturday, May 21. Active K9 officers Maverick and Jagger and retired K9 Ruger will attend. The K9 Unit's funding comes entirely from private and corporate donations. The fundraiser runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Country Cow Deli is at 2505 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield. BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- The Brookfield Chamber of Commerce had its Membership Appreciation Night last week at Hacienda Don Manuel. More than 50 people attended, including eight new members. YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Police Department will participate in "Click it or Ticket" from Monday, May 23 to Sunday, June 5.
