Orangetown Police Assign Officer To Youth Division ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Police Officer Daniel Ryan of the Orangetown Police Department was recently assigned to the Youth Division of Detective Bureau at the Town Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 24.  Gregory Capezzuto, Carah DePeter, Jonathan Fisher and James Pacella were also appointed as the department's newest officers.

Stratford EMS, Fire Department Conduct Joint Vehicle Accident Training STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford EMS and the Stratford Fire Department are conducting joint training exercises that simulate motor vehicle accidents.  Both Stratford EMS and fire are practicing their skills and roles in extricating during motor vehicle accidents.  The exercises simulate scenarios such as rollover, patients being pinned or crushed vehicles.

Yorktown Group Installs Signs On North County Trailway YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Trail Town Committee will install permanent signs along the North County Trailway on Saturday, June 4.  The signs are designed to draw people off the North County Trailway as it passes through the Yorktown Heights business hamlet.  Each of the two signs will feature a map of the business hamlet with icons indicating where to find amenities and business services.
