It was an honor to be at the recent ribbon cutting and reopening ceremony for the West Harrison Library. The newly-improved facility is now open for business, and one of the first things visitors will notice is the new carpeting and freshly painted walls in the public areas. Scarsdale Kids Donate Toys To Students At Sister School In The Bronx SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Greenacres Community Service Committee recently held its annual toy drive, to benefit its sister school, PS1, located in the Bronx, and some Greenacres students made the trek to deliver the toys Wednesday. Families with students in Greenacres Elementary School donated toys for the drive. PS1 has 675 students and the Greenacres students wanted to be sure that each student would receive a toy.   Many Greenacres families donated two or more gifts. Two students from each fifth-grade class made the trip to deliver the toys in person.
