SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Delbert Flower, of Saddle Brook, died on Wednesday, Dec. 21. He was 97.An Army veteran of World War II, Flower was a salesman for Universal Engineering, in Hawthorne, before he retired.

She is survived by her children, Dragica Hroncich, Ruza Naumovski and her husband Mitre, and Fiorella Picinic and her husband Anton; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Ralph "Pop" Lombardi, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, Dec. 22. He was 79.A Navy veteran, Lombardi volunteered at the North Arlington Library. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1273, in West New York.
