Rosaria 'Sadie' Cambria, 97, Park Ridge Resident
PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Rosaria "Sadie" Cambria, of Park Ridge, died on Monday, Jan. 2. She was 97.Cambria is survived by her children, Jane Cerrato and Angela Lesser; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Cambria, and her son, Salvatore.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Robert Spearing Funeral Home, 155 Kinderkamack Rd., in Park Ridge. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Church of the Presentation, in Upper Saddle River. Entombment will be in Ascension Cemetery, in Airmont.
Carol Soldano, 76, Lodi Resident
LODI, N.J. -- Carol Soldano, a longtime resident of Lodi, died on Saturday, Dec. 31. She was 76.Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Soldano lived in Paterson and Garfield before settling in Lodi 45 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, in Lodi.
She was a bus aide for the past 10 years with Town and Country Bus Co. in Wayne, and previously she was a lab assistant for 20 years at Pearl Optical Laboratory in Saddle Brook.

Charles H.F. Blumeling III, 81, Bergenfield Resident
BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Charles H.F. Blumeling III, of Bergenfield, died on Monday, Jan. 2. He was 81.Blumeling earned a bachelor's in civil engineering from the Newark College of Engineering and was a brother in the Tau Delta Phi fraternity. He then earned a master's degree in 1970. For many years, he was Newark's director of engineering.
He also taught classes at Rutgers and was a consultant for multiple municipalities.

EDGEWATER, N.J. -- Sylvia (Plotnick) Malakoff, of Edgewater, died on Tuesday, Jan. 3. She was 95.Born in 1921, Malakoff was an active member of Temple Israel in Cliffside Park, and she was a past president of the Sisterhood of Temple Israel. She was involved in many fundraising events.

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Carlo Peter Calautti, of Paramus, died on Friday, Dec. 30. He was 92.Born in 1924, Calautti was an Army veteran of World War II. He was honorably discharged and awarded several medals. He was an avid golfer and club champion.
