RINGWOOD, N.J. -- Welcome to a summer of health, Ringwood, Wanaque and West Milford. The health departments of those towns have organized a "Tri-Town Holistic Wellness Challenge," and the kickoff event is Tuesday, June 21.
The summer-long challenge directs people to use rich local resources -- from Wawayanda State Park and the Ringwood Botanical Garden to ShopRites, farmers' markets and more -- to live more healthy, vibrant lives.

Come Help Beautify Wood-Ridge With Cleanup Event
WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- Wood-Ridge is having its annual downtown cleanup day on Sunday, June 5. Folks should meet at the civic center. Gloves, brooms and garbage bags will be provided, and participants will receive a t-shirt. Both adults and kids are welcome.
Beforehand, there will be a shredding event at the civic center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. But don't bring hardcover books, magazines, newspapers, photographs or x-rays.

Edgewater Offers 'Steel Magnolias' Senior Trip To Lambertville
EDGEWATER, N.J. -- Edgewater seniors are welcome to take a day trip to Lambertville and see the play "Steel Magnolias," on Wednesday, June 8.The production, at the Bucks County Playhouse, with feature theatre, television and film stars, Marsha Mason, Patricia Richardson, Susan Sullivan and Jessica Walter.
