$1.25 Million Authorized For Housing Projects In Bergen County HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders on Wednesday approved $1.25 million in funding for four new housing projects in Glen Rock, Mahwah, Montvale and Wyckoff. The work will be done by Madeline Corporation in partnership with Bergen County United Way, for special-needs individuals and seniors. The source of funding for these projects is a Home Investment Partnership grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Local artists will display and sell artwork on the sidewalk in front of Memorial Park at Van Neste Square, and 20 percent of proceeds will benefit the Ridgewood Guild. There will also be live music.
