Faye Consentino, 71, Hackensack Resident HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Faye Consentino, of Hackensack, died on Sunday, June 26. She was 71. Consentino was born in Paterson and lived in Fair Lawn before moving to Hackensack. "Faye was a passionate and dedicated high school teacher of English, speech and creative writing, retiring after 40 years of service in 2010 from the New Milford School District," information from the funeral home noted. Timothy J. Walsh III, Noted Shelton Educator, Dies At 77 SHELTON, Conn. -- Timothy J. Walsh III -- a lifelong resident of Shelton -- died on Friday June 17, with his wife of 42 years by his side. He was 77. Walsh had a long and varied career as an educator in the area, ranging from teacher to chairman of the board of education. He first taught science, at the former Fowler School. He was appointed headmaster of the Shelton Intermediate School in 1974. While there, with his assistant Bill Banfe, Walsh developed the famous "cluster system" -- which is still in use today. North Arlington Soccer Players Compete In Seaside Tournament NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- More than 40 players from North Arlington participated in the Seaside Heights Sand Soccer Storm Tournament this past weekend, accompanied by over a dozen coaches, and many friends and family members. "All won some and lost some but in the end, had an amazing experience," the North Arlington Soccer Association noted in a Monday Facebook post. The association noted growing local participation, with one team participating last year and four this year -- and "next year we plan for an even bigger showing."
