Robert J. Northcott, 93, Former Wilton Police Chief WILTON, Conn. – Robert J. Northcott, who was the first police chief in Wilton, died on May 16. The Fairfield resident was 93. Northcott was the first police chief when the Wilton Police Department was organized in 1969. Northcott worked for 14 years in Wilton. He previously was a Connecticut state trooper, retiring with the rank of sergeant after 25 years. Armonk Tennis Player Invited To New England Prep School Tournament KATONAH, N.Y. -- Alec Roslin of Armonk, The Harvey School’s No. 1 singles player, was awarded a bid Thursday to compete in the New England Prep School Invitational Tennis Tournament this weekend. Roslin, a sophomore, compiled an 11-1 record this season in helping Harvey tennis (14-0) capture its third consecutive Housatonic Valley Athletic League championship.
