Runners Line Up For 5-Mile Race In Norwalk On Saturday NORWALK, Conn. -- The Lightfoot Running Club and the Norwalk Recreation and Parks Department will host a 5-mile road race Saturday, July 12, at 8 a.m.  The race will begin and end at Cranbury Elementary School at 10 Knowalot Lane in Norwalk. Single Family Home Sales Slide 6 Percent In Putnam In Second Quarter PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Sales of single county homes slid more than six percent and prices dropped more than eight percent in Putnam County in the second quarter of 2014, according to statistics released Tuesday, July 8, by the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors. But this month’s ride will be his first as a cancer survivor and will occur just three weeks after his final chemotherapy treatment. “When I learned I had cancer, I made a decision that I was going to ride,’’ Menchaca said. “Cancer is a big factor, but it does not control my life. Ridgefield Rower Named To U.S. Junior Team For World Meet RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – A rower from Ridgefield joined forces with a teammate from Harrison, N.Y., on Tuesday to earn a berth on the United States team that will compete in the World Rowing Junior Championships next month in Hamburg, Germany. Meghan Galloway of Ridgefield and Liliane Lindsay of Harrison swept the women’s pair races at the Junior World Trials in Mercer Lake in New Jersey.
