Stamford's Springdale Team Wins District 10-11 Baseball Title STAMFORD, Conn. -- The 10/11-year-old All Stars of Springdale Little League steamrolled opposition on their way to winning the Connecticut District 1 tournament. Concluding with a 9-4 victory Saturday over Stamford National Little League, the Springdale 10/11s led their opponents by the end of every inning, except two, en route to a 7-0 record in tournament. Redding, Easton 9-10 Softball Team Wins District Title REDDING, Conn. – The Redding-Easton 9- and 10-year-old softball team completed a dominating run to the District 1 title Saturday with a 12-0 win over New Canaan.
