Greenwich Dolphins Swimmers Make Splash In Summer Events GREENWICH, Conn. -- Swimmers from the YWCA of Greenwich Dolphins made a big mark in USA Swimming events this summer with a collection of national qualifiers, medalists and records. Among the swimmers who competed in national events were Thomas Dillinger, Alexander Lewis, Kate Hazlett, Graham Hazlett, Alexander Hazlett and Meghan Lynch. Accident On I-95 Near Border Of Stamford, Darien Stalls Friday Traffic FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A two-car accident on Interstate 95 North between exits 8 and 9, near the Stamford/Darien border, is clogging the thoroughfare at the height of rush hour on Friday. The accident occurred at 4:48 p.m. and closed one lane. There was no estimate on when the accident would be cleared. An earlier accident in Westport around 3:45 p.m. also contributed to the rough Friday ride home for commuters. Traffic was slow, but moving, on the northbound side of the Merritt Parkway.

Westport PAL Plans Boys Lacrosse Clinic Saturday WESTPORT, Conn. -- Holy Cross men's lacrosse coach Judd Lattimore will lead a clinic for Westport PAL players on Saturday. Saturday's session for grades 5 to 8. Spots are still available for this, and all future Saturday clinics. The PAL Boys Lacrosse fall clinics are open to boys in grades 1 to 8. Stamford Church Helps Community With Outreach Project STAMFORD, Conn. -- Members of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stamford helped neighbors on Sunday, Sept. 7, as part of a community outreach project.
