Runners Crawl Through Mud For Westchester Medical Center VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Runners crawled through mud, climbed over obstacles and met a whole host of challenges during Sunday's Evan Lieberman Westchester Medical Center Trauma Mud Run. Westport Restaurant's Car Wash Raises Money For Clasp WESTPORT, Conn. -- Employees from 323 Main Street Restaurant in Westport recently held their first charity car wash for Westport-based CLASP homes. Owner Adam Faillace said he intends to have the event become a a longstanding tradition in Westport. The restaurant staff of raised over $800 for CLASP, a local nonprofit that has been serving 81 men and women with autism and related developmental disabilities in group homes and apartments for 32 years. Rookie From Norwalk Scores First NFL Touchdown NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk’s Silas Redd scored his first NFL touchdown Sunday for the Washington Redskins in a 41-10 rout of Jacksonville. Redd, a rookie out of USC, scored on a 14-yard run in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring. He also rushed eight times for 41 yards in the game.
