Garden Education Center Of Greenwich Hosts Pollinators Sessions For Kids GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Garden Education Center of Greenwich will hold the first of three sessions on pollinators for children ages 12 to 17 on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. Children will design, experiment and build, and play with aquaponics, hydroponics, plant grafting, composting, and more. Norwalk Youth Football Teams Complete Unbeaten Weekend NORWALK, Conn. -- All five Norwalk Packers youth football teams won games last weekend. The fourth-grade 79ers beat Bridgeport, 18-0; the fifth-grade team beat Bridgeport, 27-13; the sixth-grade team beat Oxford, 32-0; the seventh-graders beat Oxford, 32-0; and the eighth-graders beat Hartford, 37-14. Wooster School In Danbury Marks 9/11 Anniversary DANBURY, Conn. -- Students and staff at the Wooster School in Danbury gathered at the school's flagpole Thursday to participate in a short ceremony to remember those killed on Sept. 11, 2001, as well as the first responders who gave their lives to save others that day.
