Teams Of Volunteers Needed To Help At Norwalk's Chowdafest NORWALK, Conn. – Volunteers are needed for Chowdafest, with record-setting attendance expected for Sunday's event at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. “We’re interested in hearing from companies, organizations, clubs and teams who put a premium on community outreach,” said Jim Keenan, event chairman. Local Lions Continue To Lead Community Service In Pound Ridge POUND RIDGE, N.Y.. -- One group in Pound Ridge that deserves our appreciation is our local Lions Club. With their annual pumpkin sale taking place at Trinity Pass in Scotts Corners, many residents do the right thing and visit to buy one or two. This year, the sale continues through to Halloween.
