Darien Climbs To Top Spot In MaxPreps' Rankings FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Darien High School has moved into the top spot in the state football rankings produced by MaxPreps. New Canaan is ranked No.4, Fairfield Prep is ranked No. 9 and Stamford High zoomed up five spots and is now ranked No. 17. The complete rankings are online. Darien (5-0) climbed ahead of Southington with its win last week over Fairfield Warde. Southington (4-0) held the No. 1 ranking last week. Rain Doesn't Dampen Enthusiasm For Kidzfest In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- The Human Services Council’s third annual KIDZFEST Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser to benefit Children’s Connection was held last weekend at Taylor Farm in Norwalk. Although the rain put a damper on the turnout, the true spirit of the event was more evident than ever.
