White Plains Hospital Hosts Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Reunion WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- More than 300 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) “alumni” and their families attended the White Plains Hospital 18th annual NICU reunion on Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. This free celebration included brunch, children’s activities, and remarks from Hospital President Susan Fox and Director of Neonatology Dr. Jesus Jaile-Marti. The hospital’s Charles A. Mastronardi NICU has earned a level III designation, the highest level of accreditation available for a community hospital.

2 Norwalk Cheerleading Teams Win State Titles NORWALK, Conn. -- Two Norwalk Packers cheerleading teams won state championships last weekend and will advance to the New England Regional championships later this month. The Packers 10-and-under team and the 13-and-under squad won titles. The will compete in the New England Championships on Nov. 22 in Manchester, N.H. Both teams also won Colonial Youth Football & Cheer championships in October. The 10-and-under team coached by Kelcie Wehmhoff, are the defending national champions. Bedford School Group Takes Unique Approach To Special Education BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Special Education Parent-Teacher Organization takes a creative approach toward addressing an age-old problem. Redding Roadhouse Reopens With Grand Opening Planned For Saturday REDDING, Conn. -- Redding Roadhouse, which closed in May, reopened its doors last week with a soft opening and is planning a grand opening this weekend. The popular restaurant at 406 Redding Road closed in May when the former tenants and owner could not agree on a lease. Norwalk Packers 6th-Graders Win 3rd Straight League Championship NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Packers 6th grade football team won its third straight league championship with a 36-27 win over the Hartford Wildcats. Norwalk suffered a 13-12 loss to Hartford in the 4th grade state title game in 2012 and a 32-26 loss in the 2013 state title game.
