Fairfield Giants Junior Midget Cheer Team Wins New England Title FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Giants Junior Midget cheer team added to an already extensive trophy collection last weekend by winning the New England Regional title. The girls and coaches qualified to compete in the Pop Warner cheerleading nationals next month at DisneyWorld in Orlando, Fla. The cheerleaders also won the Connecticut and Southern Connecticut Pop Warner titles this fall. The team will be soliciting donations for its Florida trip.
