Fairfield County Commuters Face Tough Road Home On Wednesday FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County commuters faced a long drive home Wednesday afternoon as two accidents at about 4:30 p.m. clogged the roadway. A disabled vehicle closed the left lane on Interstate 95 near Exit 16 in Norwalk. An accident on I-95 north near Exit 18 in Westport also bedeviled drivers. There was no indication when the incidents would be cleared. Delays were also reported on the northbound Merritt Parkway, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Single-Family Home Sales In Greenwich Slide In January GREENWICH, Conn. -- A total of 23 single-family residential closings were reported in Greenwich in January, according to a report released by the Greenwich Association of Realtors. The figures were provided by the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service Inc., the multiple listing service used by Realtors in the Greenwich area. The number of single-family residential closings represents a 104 percent decrease, compared with January 2014, when there were 47 closings.
