Stamford Police Detain Suspect In Veterans Park Stabbing Of Teen STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police are questioning a suspect in an attack on an 18-year-old man Monday at Veterans Park who was stabbed four times, The Advocate reported. Stamford Police Lt. Diedrich Hohn told the Advocate that the victim suffered a punctured lung and internal bleeding, and was in stable condition Tuesday at Stamford Hospital.  The victim and another man were fighting at about 3:20 p.m. on Monday, the report said, at the park on Atlantic Street. Norwalk Common Council Expected To Vote Tuesday On Concussion Guidelines NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Common Council is expected to vote at its meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 24, on a proposal for concussion guidelines for youth sports teams that use city fields and properties. The Norwalk Recreation and Parks Committee approved the proposal earlier this month. The law would make Norwalk the first city in the state to adopt a citywide concussion program.
