Fairfield Prep Names Football Captains For New Season FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield Prep named its football captains for the new season. The captains for the Jesuits are Sam Opont, Aidan Coyle, Nick Franchuk, and Connor Bercik. Prep has a new coach in Keith Hellstern, who stepped in for Tom Shea. Hellstern had been the defensive coordinator under Shea, who stayed on as an assistant coach. Prep finished 7-4 last year. The Jesuits open the season on Sept. 11 at Notre Dame of West Haven.
