One Westchester Squad Makes State's 'Fab 5' Rankings In Football Archbishop Stepinac’s football team placed second in a MaxPreps’ story on New York’s “Fab 5”. The Crusaders were behind Canisius.  Jamestown, Maine-Endwell and John Jay of Hopewell Junction in Dutchess County were also featured in the article. The Crusaders, who finished 12-1 last year, kick off the season on Friday, Sept. 11, at Newburgh Free Academy. The Crusaders have 10 returning starters, five on each side of the ball, and will be led by Tyquell Fields, T.J. Morrison and Dan Negron. John Jay is the lone Section 1 team in the top five. Norwalk River Valley Trail Opens New Section In Wilton WILTON, Conn. -- The Norwalk River Valley Trail announced that its newest section of trail in Wilton is now open to the public. The section, part of the east-side “Wilton Loop”, runs one half mile north from Sharp Hill Road to near Twin Oak Lane. The section begins as a level, mostly shaded path through mixed woodland and crumbling stone walls.  There is a dirt side-trail leading to Parish Road, and a rough rock bench put together by trail builders.
