Chesapeake Bay Retriever Reported Missing In Chappaqua CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- A Chesapeake Bay retriever by the name of Lushey has gone missing in Chappaqua. Lushey (pronounced like Loo-shee) is a friendly, playful dark brown female with a rope collar and no tags. She was last seen at the Edith Macie Center property off Chappaqua Road. Stratford High Renovation Plan Moves Forward To Committee STRATFORD, Conn. -- Town Council members appeared ready to move forward with a proposed Stratford High School renovation plan after a workshop Thursday, according to the Stratford Star. The plan calls for the addition of a new wing west of King Street and extensive renovations to the current building, with a total cost of $125.9 million, the Stratford Star reported. Fire Started By Unattended Bathroom Candle Damages Stamford Apartment STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford family of five was displaced after a fire in the bathroom of their apartment early Friday, according to the Stamford Advocate. An unattended candle burned to the bottom of its jar, which broke, then spread wax and then fire to a medicine cabinet, the Advocate reported. A male resident of the 88 Lockwood Ave. apartment woke to a crash before he saw the fire, closed the bathroom door and called 911, said the Stamford Advocate.
