LaGrange Association Library Pairs Gift Baskets With Winter Reading Program LAGRANGE, N.Y. -- Another winner was chosen from the the LaGrange Association Library's "Warm Reads and Fabulous Films Adult Winter Reading Program." For the winter program, readers fill out a raffle entry form for each book they've read or film they've seen and submit them online or in-person via the library's raffle jar. Submitted forms are entered into a bi-weekly raffle drawing for a gift basket. The library currently has one basket remaining. LaGrange Association Library is located at 488 Freedom Plains Road. Potholes Cost Drivers $3 Billion Annually, AAA Northeast Says FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Pothole damage cost U.S. drivers about $3 billion annually, according to a new study from AAA. “In the last five years, 16 million drivers across the country have suffered pothole damage to their vehicles, with problems ranging from tire punctures and bent wheels to more expensive suspension damage,” said John Paul, AAA Northeast’s Car Doctor. James Baldwin Music Festival Comes To Norwalk Community College NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Community College's African Culture Club will sponsor the James Baldwin Music Festival Feb. 25 in the Pepsico Theatre. The event will celebrate and recognize Baldwin's life with a mix of different genres, as well as poetry, gospel choirs, poetry readings, jazz student acts and more in commemoration of Black History Month. Volunteer candidates must be approved by the library director, be 14 years of age and be respectful of their supervisors and library policies.
