Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed After Being Struck By Jeep On Roadway In Lake Success Police are investigating after a man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on a Long Island roadway. The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3 in Lake Success. While attempting to cross in the vicinity of 1100 Marcus Ave., from the south side to the north side, the male pedestrian was struck by a 2020 Jeep traveling westbound on Marcus Avenue, Nassau County Police said. Person Struck, Killed By Vehicle Near Intersection In West Hempstead Police are investigating after a fatal midday crash on Long Island. It happened around 12:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 in West Hempstead. A male pedestrian was crossing the street on Woodfield Road in the vicinity of Lindberg Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound, Nassau County Police said. The victim sustained serious head injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police. His identity has not yet been released. Police have identified two "persons of interest" after three people were shot following a high school football game overnight in the Hudson Valley. Westchester Resident Who Exited Vehicle After Crash Struck, Killed By Car, Police Say Police are investigating after a man who stepped out of his vehicle following a crash was struck and killed by a car in the Hudson Valley, according to New York State Police.
