Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Track Shifts For New Storm System Headed To Northeast: Here's What's Coming The projected track for a new winter storm headed for the Northeast has shifted. Ahead of the system, light rain and snow showers fell Tuesday morning, Feb. 21 as a disturbance moved through the region. The precipitation has tapered from west to east after daybreak and much of the day will be dry until a cold front brings additional wet weather late Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Here's Latest On New Storm System On Track For Northeast A winter storm on track for the Northeast will bring a mix of rain, sleet, and snow. Ahead of the midweek arrival of the system, an overnight wintry mix farther north will become all rain later in the morning Tuesday, Feb. 21 on a mostly cloudy day in which the high temperature rises to the mid 40s to low 50s. New Fairfield School District Employee Accused Of Enticing, Sexually Assaulting Student A 31-year-old school employee in Fairfield County is facing multiple charges after Connecticut State Police say an investigation determined she sexually assault a student and sent unsolicited sexual pictures. Armed Robbery: Suspect On Loose After Incident At East Hills Gas Station A suspect is on the run after an overnight armed robbery at a Long Island gas station. The suspect entered the Mobil station in East Hills, located at 449 Glen Cove Rd. at about 4:40 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, Nassau County Police said. He approached a 54-year-old employee, grabbed his arm, placed a black firearm to the victim's back, and walked him to the cash register demanding money. Dix Hills Man Accused Of Driving Drunk After Crash Between SUV, Pickup Truck In West Islip A Long Island man is accused of driving drunk following a two-vehicle crash. The man was driving a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer in West Islip eastbound on Sunrise Highway, at Hubbards Path, when the vehicle struck a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck at approximately 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. The Chevrolet overturned and came to rest on top of the guardrail, according to police. The Mercury struck the guardrail and the center median. Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Hit-Run I-91 Crash, CT State Police Say A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-rush crash, according to Connecticut State Police. It happened around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 in Hartford County. The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was struck directly by a car on southbound I-91 in Enfield. She suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
