Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Dix Hills Man Accused Of Driving Drunk After Crash Between SUV, Pickup Truck In West Islip A Long Island man is accused of driving drunk following a two-vehicle crash. The man was driving a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer in West Islip eastbound on Sunrise Highway, at Hubbards Path, when the vehicle struck a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck at approximately 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. The Chevrolet overturned and came to rest on top of the guardrail, according to police. The Mercury struck the guardrail and the center median. Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Hit-Run I-91 Crash, CT State Police Say A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-rush crash, according to Connecticut State Police. It happened around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 in Hartford County. The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was struck directly by a car on southbound I-91 in Enfield. She suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The car, which was traveling in the center lane just north of Exit 48, fled the scene, continuing southbound, according to state police.
