Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Seriously Injured After Car Slams Into Sign, Overturns On Sunrise Highway In Manorville A woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on a busy Long Island roadway. The woman was driving on the Sunrise Highway (Route 27), west of Wading River Road in Manorville when she apparently lost control of the vehicle which left the roadway. around 3:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, Suffolk County Police said. Potentially Significant Storm Could Be Coming: Wintry Blast Will Bring Separate Snow Chances A blast of wintry weather will lead to separate chances for snowfall through early next week, including what could be a more significant storm. Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Long Island Gas Station A suspect is on the loose after an armed robbery at a Long Island gas station. Nassau County Police say the man entered the Speedway station in North Bellmore located 2426 Jerusalem Ave. at around 5:10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, then jumped up onto the counter and displayed a black handgun demanding cash. 2 Teens Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree In Huntington Station Two teenagers suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle overnight crash on Long Island. It happened around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 in Huntington Station.
