A man and a woman from Central New York have been arrested in the killing of an Atlantic City man, authorities said.
Howard Griswold, 24, of Baldwinsville, New York, and Melissa Tikarem, 28, of Manlius, New York, were taken into custody in the Syracuse area, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Griswold and Tikarem were charged with murder and robbery.

Two people were arrested after police recovered heroin, cocaine, and guns in a drug bust in Atlantic City, authorities said.
Jamil Miller, 36, of Bridgeton, and Kameesha Coppin, 33, of Atlantic City, were each charged with more than a dozen counts, the Atlantic City Police Department announced on Wednesday, Feb. 14. They were arrested on Friday, Feb. 9 in a four-week drug-dealing investigation.
Police executed a search warrant at a home on Mediterranean Avenue. Miller and Coppin were taken into custody in that home.

Galloway Township police arrested Sahmad Greene, 28, of Galloway, on Monday, Feb. 12, the department said. The arrest came after officers searched a home on Liberty Court and found narcotics, a gun with a high-capacity magazine, cash, and a vehicle with more narcotics inside of it.

A Cape May County man was arrested after barricading himself in a house with his family and threatening police in an hours-long standoff, authorities said.
Rakesh Patel, 47, of Wildwood, was charged with three counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree terroristic threats, third-degree resisting arrest, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree obstruction of justice.
